Layers are to style as the Millefeuille is to pastries. With a little practice, layering is the easiest way to add visual interest to an outfit and instantly look more put together.
Think about a guy with a white dress shirt and dress pants. Now add a tie, a vest and a jacket. It takes 4.7 seconds to put on layers, but the result creates the illusion that you spent a long time not only planning your outfit but creating your overall style.

Don’t put your summer blouses away during those cooler months, they make really great layering pieces especially under a shirt or sweater with an open back or hi-lo hem.
