Want a Capsule Wardrobe? Get Your Colours Done

The first step to having a capsule wardrobe is to have your colours done. What does this mean? It means that a professional, like me, will drape you with different coloured fabric to see which shades work best with your complexion and colouring.‎capsule wardrobe colours doneBecause, unless you plan on wearing black and white all the time (which is great if you are a winter) then you need to know your best neutrals, so you can work around them. If you want all your clothes to mix and match then buying clothes in the same tones or shades will allow all of them to mix and match flawlessly. The more similar the colours, the easier it is to create a capsule wardrobe. When we buy tops or jackets that only go with a pair of jeans or black pants then we end up having to have a much larger wardrobe in order to create outfits. However, if we can pair the same jacket with five different tops, a pair of pants and two pairs of jeans, we can create an incredible combination of outfits while having to buy much, much less.Still not convinced? Well, then I should also add that wearing colours that love you will allow you to wear less makeup and prevent shadows underneath your eyes. If that isn’t enough of a reason, I don’t know what is!Live in Toronto? Want to have your colours done at a fraction of the price? Sign up for our October 6th workshop hereCan't make it?
