Who Am I?
Before I tell you who I am, let me start by telling you who I am not. I am not the person who is going to put you in clothes that like you, but you don't like back. I will not force you to buy clothes that are out of your budget (in fact I LOVE a good deal). I will not criticize your past clothes choices or put you in styles without telling you why they work.
I will however, help you find your ideal style and show you exactly which shapes and cuts to try and which to avoid. I will also help you shop for a closet of clothes that will multitask flawlessly so you never have to worry about what to wear (or how to wear it).
Why I do what I do
When I started Your Shop Girl in 2008 I wanted to ensure it reflected my style philosophy; it is simple, I focus on educating and empowering you to help curate a closet full of clothes you will actually wear and love. I focus on humans first and fashion second.
It all started over 15 years ago when in an effort to combine my instincts with instruction once I completed my undergrad at the University of Toronto, I became a graduate of George Brown’s Image Consulting program. My thirst for knowledge lead me to the centre of fashion itself – Paris, France, where I studied at the Sorbonne University; then onto New York to conquer the Fashion Institute of Technology.
