How to clean white shirts (orrr how to clean yellow armpit sweat stains)

I figured since I just did a blog on white tees, I post one on how to keep them clean! The first tip is to keep them out of the dryer. Actually keep everything out of the dryer. The more you can hang or lay flat the better. I dry all my loungewear, workout gear and under pieces (under pieces? underpinnings? undergarments? I can't think of any word for underwear that doesn't sound like it is from the 17th century) I digress, I hang everything that I care about. Second tip, try to prevent the stains in the first place. Try a undershirt like Nudy Patooty or Knix. Since I wear them and recommend them all the time, we are trying to get a discount for clients (Hi guys! if you are reading this, please email us back :D) so stay tuned for an update. You can also switch to a deodorant rather than an antiperspirant, but you may have to deal with sweaty armpits rather than yellow stains. Last tip; if the damage has been done there are a few different options. One of my clients soaked her shirt in oxiclean overnight and that did it. Otherwise try soaking the shirt (or armpit) in a tub of water and 1 cup of vinegar. Mix together 1/2cup baking soda, 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide. Scrub into stain and leave on for 15 minutes before washing. Let me know how it goes!
